Best in Show at Bangor Ch Show under Howard Tonks, was Lynda and Colin Matthews’ Whippet, Ch, GB & Int Ch Collooney He’s The One. RBIS went to Ciaran and Ann Marie Donnelly and Billy & Josh Henderson’s Dobermann, Ch & GB Ch Tuwos Hrana. BIS 3 was Eamon Murray’s Beagle, Ch Heathergrove Persian Warrior, and BIS 4 Sean Carroll and James Newman’s Pomeranian, Ch & GB Ch Belliver The Ultimate Creation. Best Baby Puppy in Show under BIS judge, Howard Tonks, was Niamh Carroll and Craig Bannon’s American Akita, Cannonbear Kashmir, with Janet Duke and Tracey Gill’s Whippet, Mossbawnhill Causin A Stir At Rushden, handled by Tracey, runner up.

June Wall’s Champion Stakes winner was Alan Matthews’ Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Ch & GB Ch Maplecreek Beach Bunny At Craigycor, while in second place was Melanie Corcoran’s Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Ch Bad Girl Pauline At Molru.

June Wall’s Puppy Stakes winner was Lynda Cuthbert Matthews’ Whippet, Ailesbury Ghost King, handled today by Aisling Robertson.

Topping the Junior Stakes under June Wall was Peter and Jacqui Embleton’s Bernese Mountain Dog, Bernemcourt Fascination, with Cullen’s Dobermann, Tuwos Impeccable, handled by Kelly Lawless, in second spot.

Brace Stakes winners under June Wall were Christine Bastable’s Smooth Haired Kaninchens, Chrishane Luvs Lotie The Hottie and Ch Melriding Marsellaise Luvs Chrishane.

John Wauben from The Netherlands judged Group 1 and his winner was Mike Gilchrist’s Hungarian Puli, GB Ch Cariadus Galadriel At Silkata, Group 2nd went to Geraldine Mulrooney’s O.E.S., Ch Bellablue Grayson, handled by Seamus Keane.

German judge, Gisa Schicker, sent through the RBIS winning Dobermann, Ciaran and Ann Marie Donnelly and Billy & Josh Henderson’s Dobermann, Ch & GB Ch Tuwos Hrana, from Group 2 where her runner-up was Roberta Curran and Diana Bousefield’s Great Dane, Ch Highesteem Perfect Guy V Xandero.

Ken Connor judged Group 3 where his winner was Ross Delamr’s Smooth Fox Terrier, Ch Shillelagh Smooth Operator, runner-up was Philip and Ed O’Brien and Jarka Poulova’s Kerry Blue, Ch, GB, Int & Sk Ch Edbrios Amadeus.

Topping Group 6 under German All Breeds judge, Walter Schicker, was Eamon Murray’s Beagle, Ch Heathergrove Persian Warrior, who then went on to BIS 3. Second place was Barry O’Neill and Sandra Stack’s Basset Hound, Ch Knockogue Arthurs Legacy.

Tatjana Urek from Slovenia judged Group 7 where her winner was Barty & Ken Kennedy’s Irish Setter, Sh Ch Glenarra Core De Lion, with Catherine Kelly’s Hungarian Vizsla, Sh Ch & Lux Ch Risley Mark The Moment, handled by Morag Connolly, 2nd.

The winner of Group 8 under Tatjana Urek was Kerry Brennan’s Cocker Spaniel, Sh Ch Kerrijoy The Black Panther, while Joe Caulfield and Joanna Furlong’s Irish Water Spaniel, Sh Ch Fynder On Shifting Ground, was G,2nd.

Judging Group 9 was Sally Burns, and it was Ashling Connolly’s Bichon Frisé, Ashmair Double Act, who took the top spot with G2 to Sean Carroll and James Newman’s Papillon, Ch, GB, Ger, Slov & Int Ch Denemore Iconsruben.

Walter Schicker’s Group 10 winner was the Best in Show winning Whippet, Lynda Cuthbert Matthews and husband Colin’s Ch, GB & Int Ch Collooney He’s The One, while 2nd was Michael Western’s Saluki, Ch & Int Ch Ulmarra Salib.
BANGOR '11 JUNIOR HANDLING
The Junior Handling Classes at Bangor were judged by Bob Busby, all the way from North Carolina in the USA. Bob is a Junior Showmanship judge and was a pro handler in America for many years. His overall winner at Banger was Catherine Broaders, who won the 10 – 12 yrs class.
